SILENT MAGAZINE "Design a Tee" Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
The following Terms and Conditions govern the "Design a Tee" competition (the "Competition") organized by SILENT MAGAZINE (the "Organizer"). By entering the Competition, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
- The Competition is open to individuals who are aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
- Entry is open to international participants, subject to shipping restrictions.
3. How to Enter
- Participants must submit an original T-shirt design that dope as f**k, and f**ks with the culture of SILENT MAGAZINE.
- All entries must be submitted via instagram between 11 October and 30 October.
- Only one entry per person is allowed.
- If selected, designs must be submitted in a high-resolution format (e.g., JPEG, PNG, or vector format) suitable for printing on a T-shirt.
- By submitting a design, the participant warrants that the design is original, has not been previously used, and does not infringe on any third-party rights.
4. Design Requirements
- Designs must be created specifically for this Competition and must not have been commercially released.
- The design must incorporate the theme of "SILENT" or otherwise reflect the identity of SILENT MAGAZINE.
- No obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content will be accepted. SILENT MAGAZINE reserves the right to reject any submission deemed unsuitable.
5. Judging and Selection
- All eligible entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges appointed by SILENT MAGAZINE.
- Judging criteria will include originality, creativity, and adherence to the SILENT MAGAZINE brand and values.
- A shortlist of finalists will be announced closer to the final date, and a winner will be chosen based on the judges' discretion.
- The winner will be announced on October 30th via SILENT MAGAZINE’s website and social media channels.
6. Prizes
- The winning design will be produced and sold as part of SILENT MAGAZINE’s official merchandise.
- The winner will receive:
- A £250 giftcard to use on silentstr.com
- A percentage of sales proceeds from the winning T-shirt design (percentage to be determined)
- Recognition on SILENT MAGAZINE’s platforms
- SILENT MAGAZINE reserves the right to make adjustments to the design for production purposes.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
- By submitting a design, the participant agrees to grant SILENT MAGAZINE exclusive rights to the design, including the right to use, modify, reproduce, and distribute the design for commercial purposes.
- The participant retains moral rights to be credited for the design but agrees to assign all other intellectual property rights to SILENT MAGAZINE.
8. Publicity and Promotion
- By entering the Competition, participants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and design for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
- The winning design may be featured on SILENT MAGAZINE’s website, social media, and in promotional materials.
9. Disqualification
- SILENT MAGAZINE reserves the right to disqualify any participant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, submits false information, or engages in conduct that is harmful or inappropriate.
10. Liability
- SILENT MAGAZINE is not responsible for any technical issues, lost entries, or other events beyond its control that may affect participation in the Competition.
11. Privacy
- Personal data collected during the Competition will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Competition and in accordance with SILENT MAGAZINE’s privacy policy.
12. Amendments
- SILENT MAGAZINE reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Competition at any time if circumstances arise that are beyond its control.
13. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the united kingdom, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the united kingdom.
